Multiple Award IDIQ Environmental Services Contract US Navy – NAVFAC Washington AOR

For three consecutive contract terms, Aegis provided a broad array of multi-media environmental consulting services to NAVFAC Washington throughout its area of responsibility (AOR).   Under these contracts Aegis provided assistance in meeting statutory compliance requirements for all applicable environmental laws and regulations including air, water, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, solid waste, petroleum, oils and lubricants (POL), and pollution prevention to Naval and Marine Corps facilities in Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C.   

Clean Air Act (CAA) Support:

  • Regional emissions inventory and ODS survey – 12 installations throughout NDW
  • Air compliance and ODS support – NSF Indian Head and National Naval Medical Center
  • Title V permit renewal, annual reporting and emissions certifications – NSF Indian Head and US Naval Academy
  • Permit strategy for demonstrating compliance with original “Boiler” NESHAP – NSF Indian Head
  • Boiler MACT air compliance strategy development – NSF Indian Head
  • Ozone nonattainment evaluation, re-designation and subsequent flexible permit modifications – Naval Marine Base Quantico
  • VOC and NOx Training – NSF Indian Head
  • NSR permit strategy and application – NSF Dahlgren
  • CAA audit, emissions certifications, ODS inventory, compliance review and training – Walter Reed National Medical Center
  • Stage II vapor recovery integrity testing oversight & boiler emissions performance testing for air permit modification & anticipated compliance w/ the “Boiler” NESHAPs – Walter Reed NMC

Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants (POL) Support:

  • Update Regional Integrated Contingency Plan
  • Update SPCC Plans – NAS Patuxent River, Solomon’s Annex, Webster Field, and US Naval Academy
  • Develop Facility Response Plan – NAS Patuxent River
