Ms. Ellis has over thirty-five years’ experience in the environmental field. She worked as an environmental and safety manager for large manufacturing for over ten years. She began consulting with industrial clients in 1992. Her experience is broad-based having worked with clients in specialty chemical manufacturing, automotive parts manufacturing, tire and rubber manufacturing, fiber-glass composite, boat manufacturing, and other industrial clients.
Her extensive air permitting experience includes the assessment of federal state and local applicable requirements, compliance strategies, and the development of flexible permits. She has completed BACT and analyses for many PSD permit applications. Additionally, she has completed PAL applications in both South Carolina and Alabama as well as synthetic minor Title V operating permit applications to provide clients with added flexibility in permitting.
She has worked with industrial clients to assess their regulatory compliance programs, determined areas where the facility may have been given excessive regulatory requirements and worked with the regulatory agencies to remove them. Has assisted smaller minor source clients with regulatory reviews that resulted in registrations or permit exemptions.
