Mr. Sayre is a professional geologist specializing in environmental investigations and regulatory compliance. He is an expert in subsurface investigation of soil and groundwater contamination and the application of investigation results to regulatory compliance and business risk management. He has a working knowledge of many environmental programs and wide ranging experience that transcend environmental geology. Some of his more diverse experiences include work in construction, engineering geology, water resources, industrial minerals, and OSHA training. Mr. Sayre has over 20 years of stormwater experience as demonstrated by his publication on the use of construction industry sediment and erosion control practices to improve industrial stormwater monitoring results: Erosion and Sediment Control Practices, a Practical Solution to Stormwater Pollution Control, 1993, Proceedings of Environment Virginia Symposium ’93, Lexington, VA. He has assisted clients in obtaining NPDES General Permits for stormwater discharges in 11 states (CA, CT, FL, GA, IA, IN, NJ, PA, SC, WA, and WI) since 2012. Mr. Sayre is a certified Virginia Responsible Land Disturber (RLD04461 and a Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner Trainer of Record (California).
