Amelia Flannery, Project Scientist

Amelia Flannery began at Aegis as an intern in the Summer of 2017 and began her professional career at Aegis in February 2018. During her time at UVA, she independently researched and published results on land-atmosphere interactions. She also collaborated with UVA Academic Affairs and UVA Housing and Residence Life to organize and develop environmental educational events and resources. Ms. Flannery was also involved in a citizen science stream watch program in the Charlottesville community collecting measurements and collaborating with multiple organizations. Ms. Flannery is a certified Responsible Land Disturber, she performs and assists in regulatory stormwater and SPCC compliance inspections, water quality sampling and environmental site assessments. In addition, she has assisted in development of environmental compliance plans, NPDES permit renewals, and Title V permit applications.
