David Sayre of Aegis GeoEnvironmental, LLC has provided consulting services  including audit services, training, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, Notices of intent to be covered under general permits for discharge of storm water associated with industrial activities, No exposure certifications, and Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) Hazardous Chemical Storage Tier 2 Reporting under several contracts with UNFI.

Our current annual contract includes the following services at facilities in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania:

  • Refrigeration process – Ammonia (29 CFR 1910.38 Emergency action plans, 29 CFR 1910.132 Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Refrigeration process – Ammonia, Annual Process Safety Management (29 CFR 1910.119)/Risk Management Plan (40 CFR 68 Subpart G)/Department of Homeland Security compliance (6 CFR 27 Chemical Facility Anti-terrorism Standards)
  • Stationary Air Emission sources (Emergency Generators and heating systems)
  • Powered industrial trucks fuel systems – battery charging and ventilation (29 CFR 1910.178)
  • Powered industrial trucks fuel systems – hydrogen systems (29 CFR 1910.103)
  • Hazard Communication program (29 CFR 1910.1200)

Spill Prevention Plans, Industrial Stormwater Permitting –  Aegis has a separate contract to prepare a Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) plan and industrial storm water permit application for a UNFI facility in Texas.
