Samuel is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in emergency response, remediation, and industrial, marine, and waste services. Over the course of his career, he has honed his skills in data entry, agile methodologies, interpersonal communication, water and air sampling, environmental monitoring, data analysis, and analytical thinking. As a proven team leader, he possesses strong effective communication skills that enable him to work collaboratively with others towards shared goals.
In addition to his experience as an environmental professional, Samuel is also serving as a Combat Engineer (SAPPER) in the US Army Reserve, utilizing his knowledge of military facilities to develop and support effective engineering solutions. His expertise spans all phases of combat engineering, including the construction, repair, and maintenance of military structures, and they specialize in maintaining buildings, assisting with demolitions, explosives and coordinating land mine warfare.
Samuel has also gained valuable experience as a Geological Engineer at Nevada Gold Mines and Barrick Gold Corporation. During this time, he developed skills in mineral resource management, geological mapping, drill core and RC chip logging, soil and rock chip sampling and geological data interpretation.
Samuel's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with focus on Energy, Environmental policies and Natural Resources Law and a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. The MPA program equipped him with valuable skills in business management, analyzing environmental policies and creating organizational strategic planning. Collectively, his professional experience and academic training have enabled them to excel in environmental consulting and engineering roles, and he is committed to using his expertise to make a positive impact in Aegis Environmental and the community. His extensive experience in environmental consulting and engineering, combined with their expertise in combat engineering and geological engineering, make him a valuable asset to the team.
