Matt Reynolds began his professional career with Aegis in June 2018. During his time at Virginia Tech, he performed research for the Biological Systems Engineering Department on dissolved oxygen cycling and biological oxygen demand in various aquatic systems. He also worked with professors at the Virginia Tech Turfgrass Research Center to develop advanced treatments for Golf Course and Sports Turf applications. Mr. Reynolds is a certified Responsible Land Disturber and has been trained to handle hazardous substances in OSHA’s 40-hour HAZWOPER course. Mr. Reynolds performs and assists in environmental sampling, Phase I and II environmental site assessments, site characterizations, and risk assessments. In addition, he has aided in the development of site sampling plans, SPCC plans, NPDES permit renewals, Title V permit applications, and VRP applications.
