The application period is now open for the 2022 Governor's Environmental Excellence Awards. The awards acknowledge successful and innovative programs and projects throughout the Commonwealth in the following categories:

• Land Conversation
• Implementation of the Virginia Outdoors Plan
• Sustainability
• New Category for agencies and institutions of the Commonwealth
