Aegis Celebrates Sandy Morse

Sandy was an original founding partner at Aegis back in 1996 and has been an important member of our team ever since. Her invaluable experience in air and waste regulations and Environmental Management Systems has been a key asset to Aegis and we are so glad to have her with us!

Here is some background on Sandy and her depth of technical experience:

Sandy received her B.S. Degree in Biology (1965) from Madison College, Harrisonburg, VA and her M.S. degree in Biology (1978) from VCU. She has served as the Director of the VADEQ’s Division of Technical Evaluation, setting policy for air permitting, control systems and air dispersion modeling guidelines and she is a former VADEP Hazardous Waste Enforcement Chief. Sandy is a current member and former officer and Board member of the Old Dominion Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) and is RAB-BSI certified ISO 14001 Lead Auditor.

Sandy is valued as a mentor and teacher to many of us here at Aegis. She is well known in environmental circles within Virginia and with over 31 years of experience in environmental regulations and a wide range of environmental issues, she has positively impacted our lives, clients, and the environment!
